2026 Eisteddfod dates
The Eisteddfod runs across two venues - The Prince of Wales Opera House and the Gulgong Memorial Hall. Each discipline had its own schedule of classes and run independently. In May a detailed program will be published with the actual classes. In 2026 the Eisteddfod dates are:

Disciplines
The 45th Gulgong Prince of Wales Eisteddfod had over 300 classes across 3 disciplines; Dance, Speech & Drama and Music. Although predominantly aimed at children of all ages there are adult classes too. The Eisteddfod runs for 3 weeks in May and culminates in a Gala Concert where the region's talent is showcased in the historic Prince of Wales Opera House. Entry is open to everyone!

Speech & Drama Classes include Verse, Restricted, Humorous, Australian, Sight and Prepared. Specialist classes for Public speaking, Radio Announcements and Character Sketch |
Music Classes include Vocals, Piano, Strings Woodwind and Percussion plus specialist classes for own composition, duets, groups and choir. |
